Christmas Eve Workshop

What is it?

Christmas Eve Workshop is a two-and-a-half day holiday program preparing children to perform a special Christmas Eve musical entitled “Sophie’s Christmas”.  The program will involve fun and games; music, drama and dance; craft; morning and afternoon tea and lunch; learning about the true meaning of Christmas. Children will be streamed into two age groups; K-2 and 3-6 but will come together for rehearsals and performances.

Where and when?

The workshop will be held at Pittwater Uniting Church, 10 Jubilee Avenue, Warriewood. It will run on three days:
• Wednesday, December 20, 9am – 3pm
• Thursday, December 21, 9am – 3pm
• Friday, December 22, from 1pm – Christmas Eve (Eve Eve) service at 5pm

Who can attend?

The Christmas Eve Workshop is for primary school children (K-6 2017). Children need to have completed at least one year of school.


$55 each for 1st and 2nd child, $120 for three or more children from the same family (covers craft, lunch, morning tea).


If you believe your child would enjoy performing a speaking part in the musical, auditions will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 4pm  [FOR CHILDREN IN YEARS 4-6 ONLY] at Pittwater Uniting Church in the main auditorium. Parts will be allocated and the children given scripts to take home and practice. There are 15 speaking parts, small and large, and some singing parts. Those with parts will also be required for rehearsal on Tuesdays December 12 & 19 2017, 4-5.30pm.

Christmas Eve (Eve Eve) service

Parents, family and friends are invited to begin Christmas celebrations with an unforgettable experience of children sharing the true heart of Christmas at 5pm, December 22, at Pittwater Uniting Church followed by a family sausage sizzle.
